The objective of the PC Banking industry study was to survey RFG clients on a wide variety of online banking issues. Topics included PC banking and bill pay penetration, age of online programs, current online service offerings, planned online service offerings, bill pay pricing, and relationship pricing for PC banking and bill pay. Eighty-seven RFG clients participated in this online industry study that was conducted during August and September 2000. RFG eResearch was used to conduct the PC Banking industry survey. RFG's eResearch program is a fully-customizable online survey that helps institutions determine their ecommerce strategy. Note: This survey may not be representative of the entire financial services industry, because only RFG clients were surveyed. Also, institutions that emphasize online banking may have been more likely to respond than institutions that don’t emphasize online banking. RFG will provide a customized set of data tabulations using a segmentation scheme based on specific variables.
