KeyBank Joins Raddon Financial Group’s Research Advisory Board

OAKBROOK TERRACE, IL (December 2003) – Alan Wagner, Vice President – Market Intelligence for KeyBank has joined Raddon Financial Group’s (RFG) Research Advisory Board.

In the fall of 2002, RFG established the
Research Advisory Board to solidify the link between consumer and small business banking research and the financial industry's need for critical information upon which to base their business decisions. Board members provide developmental guidance for RFG’s Strategic Planning Study Group (SPSG) program, a semi-annual research study of consumer and small business behavior, insuring research topics are of maximum importance to the industry.

The purpose of the
Research Advisory Board is to:

  • Drive the research direction of the SPSG Program

  • Maintain program relevancy to current issues and concerns of financial institutions

  • Determine timely issues to investigate

  • Identify emerging product and delivery channel trends

RFG’s Research Advisory Board consists of 11 representatives from financial institutions around the country including six of the nation’s fifteen largest banks. “The guidance we get from RFG’s Advisory Board members who are regularly making critical business decisions allows us to understand and focus on the issues behind those decisions,” said Bob O’Meara, Director of Research at RFG. “We can then translate these issues into research questions, providing the industry consumer intelligence to help make more informed business decisions,” he said.

“I am looking forward to KeyBank’s participation and our contribution to RFG’s
Research Advisory Board, which takes an active role in the design of national research,” said Alan Wagner, Vice President – Market Intelligence for KeyBank. “Providing input that can be used to promote industry insight regarding financial services results in a benefit for the entire industry.” Research Advisory Board members are invited to serve for a three-year term. Board members are the conduit through which RFG stays in direct contact with financial service professional's consumer research needs.
