RFG Examines New Realities
for Credit Unions at Annual CEO Forum
Forum helps credit unions leverage this period of unprecedented
opportunity
LOMBARD, Ill.--(BUSINESS
WIRE)--Raddon Financial Group (RFG), a provider of research-based
solutions to credit unions and a strategic business unit of Open
Solutions Inc.®, is hosting its annual CEO Forum for chief executives
and directors of credit unions with assets in excess of $500 million.
The conference, slated for Aug. 12-14 at The Broadmoor resort in
Colorado Springs, Colo., will feature a CEO panel discussion among
leading credit union CEOs and credit union veteran Dennis Dollar, the
former NCUA chair and principal of Dollar Associates. The forum will
also feature timely presentations from industry-leading speakers,
including Peter Duffy, associate director at Sandler, O’Neil & Partners;
Bill Handel, vice president of research at Raddon Financial Group; and
Rory Rowland, president and founder of Rowland Consulting. The CEO Forum
will include a keynote presentation on strategic branding by Bruce Philp,
co-author of “The Orange Code: How ING Direct Succeeded by Being a Rebel
with a Cause.” Through his work with ING Direct, Philp helped shift the
perception of branding, corporate culture and the role of enterprise to
being something more: not simply a business, but a cause. His
presentation at the CEO Forum will focus credit unions on strategic
branding in the new future of financial services.
“We’ve designed the CEO Forum to examine the strategic topics chief
executives find most pressing,” said Bob Dye, RFG’s general manager and
chief operating officer. “We are all experiencing new challenges, but we
also see unprecedented opportunities for credit unions. Our sessions and
keynote speakers are geared at helping credit unions leverage this
period to become the preferred financial services provider of consumers
and businesses in the markets they serve.”
RFG will also present their annual Crystal Performance Awards to the 10
credit unions with the highest financial performance in 2008, based on
RFG’s balanced scorecard measurement of growth, income, efficiency and
margin management.
Feedback from last year’s CEO Forum participants included:
“This was my first CEO Forum, but not the last. Good program topics —
presenters are top notch and the location is right. I'm already setting
up meetings back home to discuss and act on some topics and standout
ideas,” said Brent Lawrence, senior vice president, Mountain America
Credit Union.
“This forum is one of the best credit union educational events I've
attended, ever,” commented Ann Hoyt, director and former chair,
University of Wisconsin Credit Union.
“Very relevant presentations, actionable content and great setting.
Outstanding value!” offered David Bard, president and chief executive
officer of New England Federal Credit Union.
