Raising the Bar: Leadership for the New
Future |
 |
Will Marré
Founder, American Dream Project
There is only one thing we can be sure
of. The future will be different.
Competition, technology, services,
member expectations, consolidations
all make the next decade a time of
re-definition for credit unions large
and small. Uncertain times require more
certain leadership. Leadership that
understands that credit unions offer a
unique value advantage. An advantage
that is the basis for growth, employee
and member loyalty and higher
performance.
In this keynote, the audience will
learn:
-
What kind of leaders will be
successful in our future economy.
-
How leaders are building
people-centered cultures to drive
innovative growth.
-
How cultures of trust reduce
friction from acquisitions and
mergers.
-
How strategic execution is driven
through carefully designed and
immediate accountability.
-
How over-investing in the new
“benefits of affinity” will create
the unique value advantage of the
future.

Any hope for a let up on regulatory
compliance issues?

Does shared branching have a future?
-
Are we closer to taxation?
-
Will the growth in CUSOs be
sustainable?

regulator and in the role of credit
union consultant, Mr. Dollar has become
one of the more popular speakers on the
credit union circuit. He will get yoru
strategic juices flowing as he

How Mobile Phones Are Changing Contact
Center Operations, Member Self-Service &
Payments |
 |
Richard Crone
Founder, Crone Consulting, LLC
Recent studies validated that households
are now shedding landlines and relying
solely on mobile phones at an
exponential rate, with upwards to
one-third (and growing) of some
demographic segments relying entirely on
wireless communications. As did the
Internet, the advent of near ubiquitous
use of cell phones is changing the game
for member self-service and electronic
payments. Most mobile payments solutions
and their early pilots have been focused
on the use of one of three technologies:
Simple Message Service (SMS), Mobile
Wallets and Near Field Communication
(NFC) chips. This session will contrast
and compare the results of real-life
deployments for each of these
technologies as well as completely new
mobile self-service and payment
technologies. This session will also
provide an interactive forum for
objectively contrasting and comparing
the pros, cons, risks and costs of each
of the technologies, approaches and
market making strategies for mobile
payments and mobile-based member
self-service. |
